The Turkish Cypriot writer Sonay Yakup Yakupsoy’s presentation of the book took place in this ast week at Turkish Women’s Philanthropic Association (TWPA), one of the successful associations of London. The latest book of the successful author, “The Dance of the Butterflies”, was very much enjoyied by the guests.
KKTC Representative Zehra Başaran’s Mother Gülten Başaran, KKTC Education and Culture Attaché Gülgün Özçelik, KKTC Press Attaché Ismet Ramiz, Haringey chancellors Eddie Griffith, Enfield councils Education Cabinet member chancellors Ayfer Orhan, as well as numerous TWPA association members where in attended were Sonay Yakup Yakupsoy’s and her book were introduction to those who participated. Author Yakupsoy, who informed our journal about the new book, said:
“Today we realized a really successful and beautiful book presentation. I would like to thank TWPA for opening their doors for such an event. Today we have decided to donate some of our book’s sales proceeds to Ali Rıza Değirmencioğlu Turkish Language Schools operating in London. For this reason, it was very touched that Mr. Gülgün Özçelik gave me a document that wishes me to continue my successes.
