YUNUS Emre Institute continues to introduce Turkey’s cultural heritage, Turkish language, culture and art with various activities. The London Centre of the Institute will be the meeting point for foreigners and Turks with many course options this year.
TURKISH COURSES
The Turkish courses, which started on 25 September and held for two periods, fall and spring, allow people with different interests from different countries, ages and professions to come together, strengthen cultural interaction and reach out to interested people in London, a multicultural world.
EBRU WORKSHOPS
During the 2 days of October 6-7, the workshop was held under the supervision of the Ebru artist Miki Oshita. Participants learned a lot about the finesse and techniques of the art of Ebru and made many applications throughout the workshop. A similar workshop will take place twice a year, and the dates will soon be announced by social media and mail.
HAT COURSES
The line course, which was regularly held by Gulnaz Mahboob for 4 years in the centre, met with new people on October 14th this year. The 10 week course the students learnt the subtleties at the beginning level of Arabic letters and fine writing art. The new period will start in February after the first period that will end in December.
NEY COURSES
Lessons to be given by Neyzen Murat Ferhat Yegül will start on October 14 and last for 8 weeks. This semester will include two classes at the beginning and middle level of the course.
TEZHİP WORKSHOP
The intensive workshop will be held for five days under the management of Ayesha Gamiet.
