DUE to the 2nd anniversary of the massacre of ANKARA on October 10th, there was an intense participation and interest in the meeting held at the Day-Mer centre on Sunday, October 8 at 15.00.
The meeting started with the invitation of 1-minute silence for our people who lost their lives in the October 10th Ankara Massacre. President Aslı Gül mentioned that the October 10th massacre of Ankara was one of the greatest massacres and that it was a breaking point and that the meeting will include topics such as why and how this massacre was committed and how the case proceeded. At the end of his speech, President Gül invited guests who were live witnesses of the Ankara Massacre on October 10, İlke Işık from the EMEP Ankara Provincial Head of the Province and Lawyer Coordination of October 10, and İlhami Şahbaz from the KESK MYK member.
It was mentioned that the terrorist acts were a great threat to the whole world, and that the audience of the terrorists had grown up under the roof of the so-called association of Adıyaman and Gaziantep before the October 10 Massacre. It was also told that after the attack the streets were washed with soapy water and many of the evidence was being destroyed in the course of many cases.Participants said that they will be followers until the end of the October 10th Ankara Massacre’s trial, and “We will never forget to justify our case no matter how long it takes.”
