Distinguished actor and scriptwriter Osman Balıkçıoğlu will be presenting his new book at a book launch. “Gazel reciter from afar” (Uzaktan Gazel Okuyan Adam) will be launched to meet with its readers in North Cyprus, Nicosia Merit Hotel on 14 September.
The launch that will take place on 14 September between 7PM and 9PM at Nicosia Merit Hotel, will present the new book to the readers with its wide range of short stories. Mr Balıkçıoğlu, speaking to Londra Gazete also remarked that he is ultimately excited to see his readers as the book stands for being a compilation of his short and widely funny stories on politics.“It has been a thought in my mind for a long time and just now I am very happy to announce that this compilation of stories will be meeting my readers.” Said Mr Balıkçıoğlu.
Mr Balıkçıoğlu also remarked that in this new book there are a new level of satiric index that tackle a triangle agenda of UK-Cyprus and Turkey.
Also remarking that the launch will be for the sake of cancer patients, in helping to Cancer Patients Philanthrophic Charity in Cyprus, Mr Balıkçıoğlu’s event will stand for being a help hand for those who are going through ups and downs with cancer.
