Welcome 2016, welcome new year and welcome to a new column…
First of all well done in reaching the new year, you did it. Maybe it was hard, maybe at times you very happy and at other times you were sad, maybe it was best year yet or maybe it was your worst, whatever 2015 was for you, it’s gone now. Look ahead and be proud you made it to 2016!
A new year may symbolise different things for each and everyone of us, yet for me it means so much more than just another year. It means new beginnings, it means leaving the bad times and unfortunate memories behind and most of all it means being grateful for another year and being able to look ahead for the future.
2015 was special but at times it was painful, unbearable even and I couldn’t wait for it to end, yet at other times it was so much fun and full of happiness that I wished I had a stopwatch like in Bernard’s watch to stop time so that each moment could stand still for longer.
I start this year with a peaceful mind and determination for the future and goals I would like to reach.
