Operating as a part of Haringey Council facilities, Cypriot Elderly & Disabled Group organised its annual Christmas party with a flow of emotions.
Accommodating both Greek and Turkish Cypriots, the Christmas party consisted of tasteful refreshments and a delightful music performance.
MANY ACTIVITIES ARE BEING HELD AT THE CENTRE
Cypriot Elderly and Disabled Group offers a substantial selection of activities each and every client can participate in, no matter what their interests are.
The CEDG’s Primary aim is to prevent isolation through providing a comprehensive day care service which caters for young adult/elderly disabled Greek Cypriots/Turkish Cypriots, Maronites, Armenians, Latins, etc, living in Haringey and neighbouring boroughs.
The centre depicts its mission statement as follows:
“To improve the independence of services users and prevent further physical and mental deterioration through providing grouped day support/activities and services where users social, physical, intellectual, emotional, cultural, linguistic, and religious needs are respected and catered for, and where the service is offered in a sensitive and caring manner with users dignity, health, well-being in their quality of life is the prime consideration”.
