The London exhibition, organized by the Union of European Turkish Democrats (UETD), features more than 40 photographs showing people’s resistance to the coup attempt.
The director of UETD, Dr Turhan Ozen, tackled the exhibition as a good reflection of the heroic resistance against the coup supporters and the exhibition depicts the victorious triumph of the society by soothing the coup attempt.
“Our people showed great heroism and blocked a huge disaster for Turkey; we are trying to tell the world about this big incident,” he said.
The exhibit is located very close to one of the city’s landmarks, the London Eye, which attracts droves of tourists. Ozen said the photos was on show for five days. Set to travel all around Europe, the exhibition has already hit Germany and the UK and heading to branch out in 11 different countries in the future as well.
Ozen said they have gotten a positive response from visitors.
