Two men have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a 33-year-old man was found dead in east London.
The man’s body was found at a house in Walthamstow on Saturday night.
He had died from internal bleeding, a post-mortem examination found.
Two men, both aged 32, were arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder and have been bailed until later this month.
Detectives are keeping an “open mind” as to the motive, the Met Police said.
The police were called by the London Ambulance Service to Forest Road at around 10.35pm on Saturday night.
A special post-mortem exam was carried out at Waltham Forest Mortuary on Sunday, October 9.
The man’s next of kin have been informed, police said.
The Homicide and Major Crime Command led by Detective Chief Inspector Jamie Piscopo has now launched an investigation.
Enquiries are underway to establish how the deceased man came to receive the injuries that caused his death, police said.
