Edmonton Labour MP Kate Osamor distributed brochures in the hope of raising awareness towards more lessons to teach Alevism in primary and secondary schools.
Along with Britain Alevi Women Union and Britain Alevi Federation, the group distributed leaflets on Alevism with brief introductory information.
Despite the rain, the determined MP said “It must be our primary rule to maintain equal rights in education”
BAF President Israfil Erbil thanked Ms Osamor for her susceptibility along with highlighting the important fact of serving for a better and equal education system in Britain.
