Turkish 30 August Victory and Turkish Armed forces day was celebrated with a reception at London’s Turkish Embassy.
Meeting at the Embassy residence, London’s Turkish Ambassador Abdurrahman Bilgiç and Turkish Armed Forces Attaché Colonel Nurettin Sevi hosted the reception.
Ambassador Bilgiç, read the Turkish President’s special 30 August message out loud saying “We are celebrating this memorable and noble day of getting our Anatolia as our country back again, in its 94th Anniversary. I couldn’t be happier to be celebrating this day in Turkey and North Cyprus. Led by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and his crew, proved to the World that what freedom and sovereignty means to our nation. 30 August is a noble day reminds everyone that our nation will and has never accepted bondage. ”.
At the reception, Mr Bilgiç then carried on talking to the guests over the tasteful Turkish dishes served.
