Entrepreneurs from Turkey met in London

Students and academics from one of Turkeys most entrepreneurial and innovating University called Sabancı University have presented their “SuCool” project ideas within London. SuCool, which is Sabanci University’s pre-incubation and acceleration center that supports early stage technology-R&D-innovation based startups in Istanbul, Turkey, accommodated many participants to the event. With the support of Turkish Bankers Association, entrepreneurs were able to lay out their business plans at London’s biggest incubation centre by putting forward their ideas from engineering to art and access to healthy foods from social media.

The director of SuCool , Kutlu Kazancı made a speech at an event, which he stated that due to the geopolitical and cultural position of Kazancı Türkiye, it has created  an entrepreneurial spirit, especially with the effect of social media and global economy, businesses are able to create more potential as well as intense competition. Kutlu also highlighted that SuCool has spread from turkey to the rest of the world, which he also highlights that it will have an important impact; specifically “SuCool London” has created an international platform which has enabled ideas from turkey to be heard globally. With a lot of participants at the meeting, turkey was able to present five of its business plans.

FazlaGıda: Platform to facilitate utilization and donation of surplus and close-to-shelf-life goods and foods. (www.fazlagida.com)

Scholife: Professional network for researchers.
