The first and annual Northern Cyprus Turkish Day took place at London Hornsey Ataturk Turkish Language School on the previous Sunday.
At the event, where the delicious recipes from the island had been served, Northern Cyprus London Representative Oya Tuncalı and her husband İshan Tuncalı their daughter Begüm Tuncalı, Consulate Ülkü Alemdar and her husband, Education Attaché Gülgün Özcelik, First Secretary Esra Emin, 2nd Secretary Dilşad Şenol, NGOs and many other guests attended to the event. Oya Tuncalı, in her speech said “ I would like to express my thankfulness to all those contributors to this event, primarily Hornsey Ataturk School, Limasollular Charity, Turkish Community Football Federation, Dr. Fazıl Küçük School, Ali Rıza Değirmenci School and Cancer Patients Collaboration Charity (Kanser Hastaları Yardımlaşma Derneği). I do believe we will grow bigger and bigger in our following events every year”.
Apart from the delicious offers and friendly atmosphere, İhsan Tuncalı’s book “Londra’dan Bakış” was also exhibited to the guests.
