A unique agreement between cities’ boroughs have signed a treaty that stands for being it sone and only kind.
Istanbul’s Beşiktaş borough and London’s Southwark Councils declared each other as “fellow councils” in the beginning of this week. Consul General Emirhan Yorulmazlar, Beşiktaş Mayor Murat Haznedar and many other bureaucrats have attended to the declaration ceremony. Hosted by the Southwark Mayor Kath Whittam, Turkish Consul General Yorulmazlar stated his happiness for being at such a promising event by hoping this fellowship would last forever with great success and projects.
Distinguished guests carried on enjoying the day after the signing sessions by having a tour in Bromley Museum.
