Örge Volan
YOUNG Turkish Cypriot talent Örge Volan performed some of his greatest hits in London’s Zen Bar on Sunday.
It was a multi-instrument recital. Alongside the electric guitar and keyboard, Volan played the cura, a small, high-pitched lute similar to the saz.
Volan also performed alongside the acclaimed Black Sea musician Volkan Konak during the concert, which is his last in London before a tour of Azerbaijan and Turkey next week.
He will next be appearing as a guest on the programme of Okan Bayülgen, the popular chatshow host on Turkish television.
