The world’s greatest restaurant festival, Taste of London, returned to Regent’s Park from 15 – 19 June 2016 for five days of summer food and fun. A number of London’s top restaurants had been holding court at one of the stands, serving three or four dishes that are either examples of food from their restaurants or newly created just for the event.
Taking place all the way on central Regent’s Park, there were over 30 restaurants taking part including some regulars who include: Duck & Waffle, Club Gascon, MEATliquor, Cinnamon Club, Ametsa and more. In addition to the joyful tasting sessions from various restaurants, there were also many live shows in which famous chefs shared their kitchen tips with the audience.
There were also lot of first-timers coming along this year and they include: Chick n Sours, Santo Remedio, Hoppers, LeCoq, Bubbledogs, Farang and lots more. Alongside many Turkish food stalls for one of the best kebab offers in London.
The restaurants carried out their “iconic dishes’” samples alongside sometimes sharing the secret recipes of decades. Some of the restaurants and providers were like below:

- Truffled Mac Daddy Hot Dog – Pork sausage topped with truffled mac & cheese & crispy bacon bits –Bubbledogs
- Tuna sashimi pizza with truffle ponzu & wasabi tobiko – Kurobuta
- The Farang Burger – Pork & prawn burger with coconut & shrimp chilli jam, pickled cucumber, ginger & Thai basil – Farang
