IHH UK brought hearts together for a London based Iftar meal. Writing a statement, the administration of the event said:
“When our aim is to help millions of vulnerable people, feed them, give them their desired still water, be their fathers and mothers, shelter those of whom were affected by nature disasters, educate those who would need, then it is time for bringing the hearts together without any discrimination or bias.”
The Iftar meal that took place at the Super Ocak Restaurant, accommodated many volunteers and NGO workers involving in the organisation. The organisation thrived to make the atmosphere as friendly and homey as possible.
Presenting the program, IHH Religious Adviser Osman Paköz, delivered his gratitude to have the opportunity alongside welcoming IHH President Ali Tahir for his speech.
What is IHH?
IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation was set up to deliver humanitarian aid to and make any effort to prevent violation of basic rights and freedoms of people who have been hard-up, fallen victim do a disaster, affected by war, natural disaster and similar calamities, wounded, crippled, oppressed or left hungry and homeless no matter where in the world. Activities of the foundation began as voluntary efforts in 1992 and were institutionalized in 1995.
IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation, which has reached out to 135 countries and regions in five continents, prioritizes while carrying out its mission spread of sharing, solidarity, and brotherhood feelings, and does numerous social and cultural activities to this end.
