A supermarket has donated over £850 worth of food to mark Ramadan.
Islamic Edmonton Centre received the donation from Tesco Extra in Lea Valley, with food ranging from chapatti flour to sunflower oil and rice, which will be donated to help feed those in need.
The delivery was made last Saturday (June 4) by a Tesco van specially designed by seven-year-old Sangeeta Digpal from Tower Hamlets, as part of a Ramadan competition held for primary schools across London.
