The annual Alevi festival brought joy and festiveness all together throughout the country. The 6th year of the festival was celebrated at the Nottingham and Hull Cemevis.
The event that took place at the Hull Alevi Culture Centre and Cemevi, welcomed musicians Tolga Sağ and Kutsal Evcimen with their remarkable musical feast. Hull AKM equal presidents Ali Ekber and Yeliz Pirdoğan, in their speeches, thanked all the guests by remarking the significance of the festival, as a way of bringing joy, culture and humanity together.
On the 5th June, on the other hand at the Nottingham Cemevi and Culture Centre, musicians Muharrem Temiz and Mustafa Kılçık got on the stage. The duo sang traditional pieces Arguvan songs.
Mehmet Sağ, the president of the organisation, delivered his thanks to all of the guests and organisations. The event ended after the speeches from Britain Alevi Women Union, Britain Alevi youth Federation, Londra Emeh Sahnesi, Dem Radio and Nurhak Culture House.
