THE PRESIDENT and deputy prime minister of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus will visit London at the beginning of next month.
Derviş Eroğlu will be joined by Serdar Denktaş, the deputy prime minister who also holds ministerial portfolios for the economy, tourism, culture and sport.
It is the highest level Turkish Cypriot visit since elections in July returned a coalition government to power led by Republican Turkish Party (CTP).
Mssrs Eroğlu and Denktaş will attend a Cyprus Turkish Associations Council event at the Britannia International Hotel on 9 November.
They are also expected to take part in the World Tourism Fair between 4 and 7 November, where the two are expected to take part in events to mark the 30th anniversary of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus’s foundation.
