Limasollular charity celebrated the mother’s day

Limasollular charity members gathered together to celebrate mother’s day in Cyprus Garden.

As a charity that is renowned by their humble and generous donations for causes and those in need, Limasollular charity celebrated the mother’s day with full of joy and enthusiasm. Ülkü Alemdar and Gülgün Özçelik from Northern Cyprus representment also were present at the event.

The president of the charity, Arife Retvan, thanked to the guest for not leaving them alone on such a meaningful date by saying “I don’t only remember my mother but all those feel like mothers and I congratulate their days as well.” Then, Retvan tackled the upcoming plans and events of the charity.

Northern Cyprus representative Ülkü Alemdar, in her speech stated that it is the most significant day in the year for her to celebrate mother’s day. She said “I congratulate every mothers’ day as a mother myself!” Alemdar finished her speech by reading a poem she had written which brought tears to the eyes.

Towards the end, the charity elected the “mother of the year” Fehime Hüseyin was chosen due to her donations and helps for the charity. Later on, all of the members sand the beautiful song “Annem” (my mum) all together.
