Sadiq and Joanne are now thriving with their their commitment to the people of Enfield and Haringey that they’ll  tackle the housing crisis by building the genuinely affordable homes Enfield and Haringey need, ensure affordable transport with our fares freeze, restore community policing and tackle gang and knife crime,  support local businesses and clean up London’s poor air quality.

“Keeping Londoners safe is a top priority,” says Joanne. “That’s why I’ve campaigned at City Hall to stop the Tories axing our local Police Community Support Officers. Local officers on the beat are vital eyes and ears making our neighbourhoods safer. Thanks to Labour these dangerous plans have been shelved. I know that Sadiq Khan will work to protect neighbourhood policing.”

“Enfield & Haringey’s a great place, but we’re at a crossroads – rents and house prices soaring, violent crime going up, travel costs getting more and more expensive, and too many people missing out on the chance to fulfil their potential.” Joanne McCartney says.
