Turkish students at the University of Sheffield, will be organising a Turkish night in May.
The event will take place on Sheffield campus, on 8 May Friday at 6PM. The event that targets enriching the Turkish culture’s existence in the region, also aims to gather Turkish and international students together through the culture.
Sheffield University’s Turkish students union, made the announcement below as:
“As Sheffield University we are pleased to state that we are one of the biggest universities in the UK in terms of international student accommodation. We are aiming to provide our rich culture’s offerings through our Turkish night, in the hope of gathering together internationally and present our culture properly. Our event will include:
- Cultural music and dance shows
- Regional food and outfit presentations
- A table for presenting Turkey’s most touristic spots
- A food shop of the most well-known Turkish dishes and beverages
- Play activities
