Northern Cyprus and Turkish Republic Consultancies are preparing for 23rd of April

 

On the 23rd of April, National Sovereignty and Children’s Day is one of the biggest national celebrations of Turkey. Many people in Turkey commemorate the first gathering of the Grand National Assembly (the Turkish Parliament), which took place on April 23, 1920, by attending local ceremonies or laying wreaths at monuments of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, the founder of the Turkish Republic. The biggest ceremony takes place at the Ataturk Mausoleum in Ankara.

As for London, Turkish Republic London Embassy and Northern Cyprus Education Consultancies will be holding a special event fort he holiday on the 24th of April at Camden Hall Town between 12.00 – 15.00.
