The Association of Western Thrace Turks UK will be holding a seminar on understanding Western Thrace, by inviting specialist Dr. Sebahattin Abdurrahman as the speaker.
After many years in Balkan Wars, the current Thrace Turks’ legal status has been clarified through the Lausanne Pact in 1923. There have been many historical events regarding Thrace Turks as they were bound to live in such legal suppressions and had to remain as disadvantaged minorities.
At the seminar which will be covering the full historical events and backgrounds regarding Western Thrace Turks, will be held at the Cypriot Turk Centre based in Southwark. The event also will include a unique item in its agenda by contacting to the Lippstadt Western Thrace Education and Culture Centre with a live streaming to include specialists from that side to talk about their specialisms.
