Britain Alevi Federation wishes better days through Newroz. Britain Alevi Federation(BAF) published a message in relation to Newroz. The message is as follows:

“Newroz is the symbol for revival and reproduction. The belief that the most sacred birth, the birth of Merdan Ali had actually taken place in this very day makes this special day more meaningful on our behalf.  At the same time Newroz is a sign that stands for Middle-eastern cultures oppression and the injustices they have faced. Newroz is a multi-layered event. We sometimes get a glimpse of it through the words of a poet or in the depths of deserts. We greet this special day with the hopes of the dominion of lightness over all kinds of cruelty, injustice and malice that populates this world.” In the end of the message, Alevi Federation dedicated Newroz to all those who have died during their struggle for freedom.
