KOMKAR elected its new administrators

KOMKAR Londra, which has been serving for Kurdish communities in London for over 25 years, gathered its 24th annual congress on 13 March 2016.

Harun Altuntop opened the event with his speech on behalf of the previous administration, while the event continued with council elections. The elected members, İsmail Çiftçi, Serdar Yalçın and Kazım Serçe conducted the meeting with declaring the minutes of the meeting. The minutes included “reading the general work report, reading the financial report and Q&A sessions.

Sweden KOMKAR President Haluk Öztürk, in his message, said “I know our community will be free soon, long live KOMKAR!” Nuri Komkar, in his speech on behalf of Balance Kurdistan (Denge Kurdistan) said “We condemn the racist and discriminative actions against our society, in such a hard phase, I present my gratitude to KONGAR for leading such a beneficial event.”

At the end of the event, the new members of the administrative group was declated as Harun Altuntop, Emirhan Kanik, Mehmet Toprak, İsmet Arslan, Sevimli Yıldız Kama, Ercan Sezgin, Ulaş Havuç, Nazım Yarar, Leyla Yalçın, Cemal Bayır, Mustafa Taskan, İlknur Genç and Suna Gür.
