Southgate Rotary Club to celebrate their 90th year

Southgate Rotary Club celebrated their 90th anniversary with a great dinner joined by 200 people.

The club was established in 1905 in the US. From the day it was established, the club ran activities in different regions of the world. An updated research shows that there are one million two hundred thousand official members.

In the UK, by the initiatives taken by Verral Reed, Rotary club was established in 1925 which is now being administered by Tahsin Ibrahim. Tahsin Ibrahim took over presidency from his brother, Ali Ibrahim.

In order to celebrate the 90th year of the respected club, a dinner was hosted in Enfield, Aksular Restraunt. Some of the participants were the mayor of Waltham Forest Saima Mahmud, former Rotary president Enver Kannur, Dr. Teoman Sırrı, financial adviser Münir Tatar, businessman Hasan Gazi. As well as the leading figures in the community, members of the club enjoyed a great dinner.

The president delivered a speech about the club activities and club’s future plans about a 2500 pounds donation to London Aerial Ambulance, which was followed by live music.
