Theatre in Turkish by Manchester-Turkish Union

 

Manchester Turkish-British Association organized a theatre play on 21st February, Sunday.  The event started with the chorus chanting, which was followed by the actual play. The well known Grimm fable, is converted into a theatrical play which is named “Pabuçcu Cinler” afterwards. The play is staged by an experienced crew, The Play Lab Company, in many cities around England.

All kids should have at least one pair of shoes

The play attempts to deliver an important message, about the moral badness of greed and thirst of money.

After the end of the play Dr. Vildan Taşlı, the president of Yalınayak organization, made a speech in support of her organization. The money raised during the event will be used for “Yalınayak” charity purposes. The organization seeks to grant children in need one pair of shoe. (For further information,

The Play Lab Company crewmember, Ada Burke shared their delight about the organization and the enthusiastic crowd. They said that they intent to pay another visit to Manchester. MTBA will announce their event calendar soon for those looking for the upcoming plays.
