Elif Kaya’s funeral (16), who had died in a car crash last week, was carried out feet first on last Thursday.

The accident that took Elif’s life happened on last Saturday in Northern London, after the process got completed at the Forensic Medicine Institute, Elif’s coffin was buried on last Friday. Hundreds of people showed up at the funeral that took place at Suleymaniye Mosque. After the Friday Prayer, the young girl’s coffin was brought to “Gardens of Peace” in Ilford to be buried.
At the funeral where tears were burst out, the coffin was carried by the young girl’s family and friends who came all the way from the UK, Turkey and Europe. Elif’s father, Nevzat Kaya, personally helped to the burial ceremony. The 67 year old grandmother Meliha Ilgın was also taken to the hospital due to an instant heart attack, after receiving the bad news.
Melike is Getting Better
In the same accident, Melike Kaya (19) was severely injured and had been in intensive care. Recently, the hospital announced that Melike has been responding to the interventions and therefore her internal bleeding has stopped. Lately, Melike has been through four medical interventions for her broken bones and one injured eye.
Condolences will be accepted in Woodford Green
The young girl’s family announced that they shall be accepting condolences in their house based in Woodford Green.
The investigation resumes
The police has declared that there still isn’t any tangible clarification regarding the accident, therefore, it is strongly advised for any witnesses to call 020 8597 4874 and testify.
