Grosvenor Victoria Casino, Edgeware Road, was scammed by three men who were ‘card swapping’ during their Poker game; one acted out as a lookout while another distracted the dealer by talking. The gambling ‘cheat gang’ went through a nine-day scam, cheating 32 times, gaining £33,600.

Suspects Ergun Yasar and Tarik Nergiz, both 33-years-old, accepted guilt by pleading guilty of conspiracy to scam the casino between April and May 2014.

Three other co-defendants also pleaded guilty to the same charge: Murat Kolcak, Ozgur Aytekin and Ali Kuyar.

Yasar, 32, N.London, is due to be sentenced on February 17th; Nergiz, 42, N.London has been issued a bail warrant after failing to appear in court; Kolcak, 43, has been given a two year suspended sentence, and 200 hours of unpaid work; Aytekin, 40, and Kuyar, 44, N.London, given a 12 month sentence – suspended for two years – and 250 hours of unpaid work.
