A course for teachers about the Turkish subject in GCSE and A Level exams

 Culture Centre by the England Turkish Language and Education Consortium gave series of lectures to teachers about the system of GCSE and A Level exams on Turkish subject on Tuesday, 9th of February, 2016.  Erkan Pastırmacıoğlu, board member of the Education Consortium, gave a lecture about the importance of the exams and gave examples as to demonstrate how to prepare and get ready for the system. The lecture lasted two hours, between 11.30-13.30.

Turkey’s London Ambassador Education Councillor, Necip Demirci and Mevlut Ceylan from Yunus Emre Culture Center attended the above-mentioned lecture. Throughout the course delivered by Erkan Pastırmacıoglu, the attendee’s found opportunity to pose questions and acquire the latest advancements about the Turkish subject in GCSE and A Level exams. He stated his delight in this opportunity to be able to convey his experiences on the subject.

Education Consortium organizes similar events in a monthly basis. As well as the events specifically aimed at teachers, Consortium stated their future plans about seminars in great ranges to educate the parents in Turkish Schools. The president, Kelami Dedezade reporting his delight in the attention on the lecture delivered on 9 Feb 2016, assured that the supplementary activities would carry on, apart from the course dates that have already been established.
