The influential Association of Turkish Women in Britain (ATWIB) hosted a tea-party to celebrate the new year at the Troy Hotel, Bayswater, London.

Among the 30 or so guests were North Cyprus London Ambassadors, Ulku Alemdar and Esra Emin – and many other well-known faces.

President of ATWIB, Mavi Fuchs, took responsibility over the opening speech: “Happy new year and we welcome all valuable guests, she said.

We are happy to have ambassadors, Ulku Alemdar and Esra Emin among us.”

The ATWIB’s Vice-President, Esra Bilgic, thanked all for their work for the association, “Since the Association of Turkish Women in Britain was formed in 2002, it has donated to many charities, helping them achieve their goals [for the needy]. Working completely under the principle of volunteerism and hard-work, we will continue working to achieve our standards and beyond…[…]…I wish a happy, healthy and peaceful 2016 for all.”

Members held conversations among each-other, as the tea beverages became the catalyst, along with treats brought in by guests.
