TURKISH MP CANDIDATE Dr. Turhan Özen for the British Liberal Democrat Party has become Head of the UETD (Union of European Turkish Democrats) it was announced earlier this week.
UETD which has its central office located in Germany and has been offering it services since 2004, became active in England in 2011. Last Saturday an exclusive meeting was given only to the press, where Dr. Turhan Özen was selected as Head Director of the Union.
The meeting saw the General Director Süleyman Çelik together with his assistant Ziya Çiçek also travel over from Germany to attend.
Previous UETD- UK director Muttalip Ünlüer handed over his position Turhan Özen and explained that he took part in affective works which benefited the Turkish Community and allowed the community in England to grow and expand.
