A prayer reading (Mevlid) TWPA(Turkish Women’s Philanthropic Association of England) was held for passed soldiers on 11th of November, Friday ahead of Fallen Soldiers week, which begins on 21 December (next Monday).
The reading took place at the TWPA union for those soldiers who lost their lives during war or while in the process of their military service in Turkey. During the Remembrance Day, poems were read and memories shared by those who attended.
TWPA said: “We would like to thank everyone who attended the prayer reading (Mevlid) and also invite them to the News Eve Party on Friday 18 December.”
TWPA is to hold a New year’s party and lottery raffle on Friday 18 December (tomorrow), for all members – at the association building in Hornsey, North London.
