2828 POLICE ARE SEARCHING for a Turkish Cypriot man who has been on the run since 2006.
Turkish Cypriot Ali Hasan Soyer was arrested and gave a statement on committing child abuse. Police continue to search for him nine years later.
The 59 year-old was arrested by the London Metropolitan Police and after his statement was realsed by officers. No trace of him has been found since. Mr Soyer was living in Southwark, South London at the time.
He was last seen in November, 2006 and police are now calling on the public for help. The Metropolitan Police which haven’t been able to find Ali for nine years have aired a help message on BBC’s ‘Crimewatch’.
Police has also made an announcement on their official website on Ali Hasan Soyer and in their announcement said: “If anyone has any information on Ali Hasan Soyer, knows of his whereabouts please contact us on 0208 217 64 46 or Crimewatch on 0500 600 600.
