Remberance to be held for Atatürk

A REMEMBERANCE IS to be held for Turkish leader and founder of the Turkish Republic of Turkey, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk on Sunday 8 November in North London.

“Remembering and understanding Ataturk”

The event, “To solve and view problems with a Kemalist view” set to be held ahead of 10 November, Ataturk’s anniversary of his passing, will also have TV and Radio Producer Turan Erdemgil and Research Journalist Abdullah Nihat Yılmaz as speakers of the evening. Hosted by IADD (British Ataturk Supporters Association) Assistant Head Gönül Cilasun, invites guests to be part of a memorable evening. The program will begin with speeches from both speakers and then will turn into a forum night.

Gönül Cilasun said: “These are hard times we are all currently experiencing, on this night we will come together to find possible solutions for us to reach brighter and more positive days. We invite all our members and friends to join us.”

After the program, guests be served a Turkish baked beans dish with rice in memory of Ataturk, as he very much enjoyed eating this dish. Below are details of the venue and travel directions,

Directions: From Liverpool Street Station, buses 242, 149 and 67 towards Dalston

From Old Street Station, 243 bus.

It is walking distance from Hoxton train station towards to Dalston or buses 242, 243, 149 and 67.

It is also within walking distance from Haggerston Station

Going towards South from Dalston Kingston train station it is a 10 minute walk or buses going in the same direction.
