CEFTUS CENTRE FOR TURKEY STUDIES, is to hold its fourth award ceremony this year on Wednesday 28 October, at the London Marriott Hotel in Central London, between 18.00-23.45.
CEFTUS, which is currently working to strengthen relations between Turkey and Great Britain, will this year be giving an award to famous journalist, writer, scriptwriter and actress Gülse Birsel. As a platform CEFTUS is showing its success and is still continuing to receive contributions from guests and support in both Turkey and the United Kingdom.
A SUCCESS AWARD FOR GULSE BIRSEL
This is the 4th year CEFTUS will be celebrating and holding the community success awards and famous for acting, scriptwriting and writing, Gülse Birsel will be among the guests and is set to receive a success award. Officials of CEFTUS decided in addition to Community Success Awards, they will this year give a Success Award to Gülse Birsel who is from Turkey.
In previous years and CEFTUS celebrations, politicians from both the Turkish and British Parliament, Members of London Council, academics, journalists, business people and community representatives have attended. This year again, guests from the political, arts and business industries both in Turkey and England will attend as guests.
As the anniversary is set to be part of the ceremony night, CEFTUS is to host in a want to celebrate the Turkish, Kurdish and Turkish Cypriot communities in England. With this ceremony, CEFTUS believe that it will be an opportunity for them to once again thank valued members of our community and award them for their hard work and contributions.
