Turkish Cypriots attend Dinner at SCTA

 

 

ALMOST 50 TURKISH CYPRIOTS have come together in an evening dinner at the Southwark Cyprus Turkish Association in South London, on Thursday (24 September) afternoon.

Southwark Cyprus Turkish Association (STCA) have brought together Turkish Cypriots in a dinner organised by Mr. Butcher. The dinner was a Turkish cuisine which was given to almost 50 people, a warm and intimate atmosphere saw also social activities also take place.  The event lasted till the late hours of the evening, where joy was spread across the guests faces.

Speaking to Londra Gazete, Director of the Association Mehmet Zaifoğlu, said: “Our aim is to help young, old and everyone who is Turkish Cypriot. We are very pleased at receiving such a high interest for the meeting and I would like to thank Mr. Butcher for providing its services.”

The association which has been of service in South London for several years, is working to increase young peoples progress and learning with Turkish and English courses. They also provide services such as house cleaning and daily care for the elderly who are in need of it.
