FAMOUS TURKISH CYPRIOT theatre performer Osman Balıkçıoğlu is to take his theatre show and cast to North Cyprus on Saturday 24 October, 2015.
Osman Balıkçıoğlu, who is with a cast of seven other people will travel to North Cyprus and perform his cabaret theatre show for the first time. Speaking to Londra Gazete, he said: “I’m really excited about going to North Cyprus to perform. We will take to the stage in four different performances and all the profits made will be given to the Help for Cancer Patients Charity (Kanser Hastaları Yardım Derneği)”
Balıkçıoğlu, continued by saying: “The comedy cabaret theatre show is called ‘Varieties of North Cyprus. It’s the first time as Londoners that we will be performing in North Cyprus, which makes that bit more special.”
The Balıkçıoğlu Cabaret Theatre performances are as follows: “Saturday 24 October at ODTÜ (Middle Eastern Technical University) Lecture theatre in Kalkanlı, Tuesday 27 October at Lefkosa Near East University, Thursday 29 October at Beyarmudu South Mesarya Culture Centre and on Saturday 31 October at Magusa Rauf Raif Denktaş Culture and Congre Centre.
