Turkish Cypriot Businessmen meet at Grand Palace

 

TURKISH CYPRIOT BUSINESSMEN have come together at a reception held at the Grand Palace Banqueting Suite, last Wednesday 30 September.

The reception which saw businessmans connected to Englands’ Turkish Cypriot Business Room, come together and listen to aims of the CTCC (Cyprus Turkish Chamber of Commerce).

CTCC told guests about their upcoming projects for the future and promoted their new website, while other smaller businesses had the opportunity to exchange opinions for their business aims and targets. The business room announced that their biggest aim was to bring together all the big and small busineeses together who are making investments in England.

Dr. Muhammet Yaşarata, Director of CTCC made the opening speech of the evening where he began by saying: “I would like to thank these particular members of CTCC for their contributions to the Commerce, Tuncel Nalbantoğlu, Ahmet Durmuş, Altan Kemal, Mehmet Mimoğlu, Levent Hassan, Niyazi Öztoprak, Işık Vedat and  Aliosman Halil.”

He continued by saying: “Our new project, Member Zone, now allows us to give our members support on things such as law services, advertising, accountancy, business trips, technology, health and security, human relations directory, insurance, import and export and premises and strategies.” After explaining the advantanges and giving himself as a successful example, Dr Yaşarata presented the new website.

 The reception also saw former TRNC and Travel leader Hasan Taçoy and some other council members attend. Following the presentation, Turkish Cypriot businessmen had the chance to meet one another and network.
