THE TURKISH BRITISH Chamber of Commerce (TBCCI) and Industry has held a Networking evening at the Becket House premises of Ernst Young LLP last Wednesday evening.
His Excellency Abdurrahman Bilgic, Ambassador of Turkey to the United Kingdom, was also present as a Guest of Honour speaker. The evening saw the launch of a new TBCCI project, the Young Entrepreneurs and Professional Platform. It was also a celebration of the TBCCI, as the date (9th September) marked it’s 36th anniversary since being found.
Talks were also given by TBCCI Chairman Emma Edhem, the Turkish Ambassador and an Ernst & Young representative and new members of the TBCCI were introduced to the delegates, whilst enjoying food and drink.
His Excellency Abdurrahman Bilgic, spoke of the Turkish-British economic, political and social relations, he said that he has taken on a duty of guiding financiers who would like to make investments both in Turkey and England. He attempts to help them find the middle of the economic bridge they with to build between the two countries.
The Turkish diplomat also congratulated TBCCI on the several important projects they have produced till now and welcomed the new project of Young Entrepreneurs and Professional Platform with great pleasure.
Chairman for TBCCI, Emma Edhem spoke about TBCCI projects and the new platform is had now put into practice.
A talk was also given by one of the Ernst & Young LLP directors Erol Mustafa, who shared his views on the new project and platform launched by TBCC. This was followed by some of the new young professionals and entrepreneurs introducing themselves to guests present.
Members of the Board of Directors for TBCCI, Counsellors of the Commercial, Economic and other departments of the Turkish Embassy and Consul General Representatives from UK Trade & Investment along with other members of the Turkish British business community were also among guests.
