The Turkish Cypriot Cultural Centre has announced the start of six weeks of free English classes, in collaboration with TimeBank-Talking Together.
The classes, which will be offered to people aged 18-40 who have indefinite leave to remain in the UK, are tailored particularly for students who have never had English language training.
Lessons begin on Monday 7 September 2015 at the cultural centre’s branch on Green Lanes, Harringay, and will cover the alphabet, numbers, basic sentence structure and question-asking techniques.
Registration will take place on Wednesday 2 and Thursday 3 September between 1pm and 6pm at the cultural centre.
The cultural centre said registrations must be made in person.
