On Sunday, March 30th, the Atatürk Society UK (ASUK) gathered for their annual Eid Sunday breakfast , bringing together members and the wider community to celebrate the joyous occasion. Held in a warm and welcoming atmosphere, the event was a testament to the society’s commitment to unity, cultural heritage, and the spirit of togetherness.

Attendees enjoyed a delicious feast featuring traditional Turkish cuisine at Bursa Kabab Evi, reflecting the rich culinary heritage of the community . The lunch provided an opportunity for members and guests to reconnect, share stories, and strengthen friendships, with music from Asım Çeliktürk.
The event also served as a platform to recognize the efforts of the Atatürk Society UK in fostering cultural awareness and community engagement. Members of the association took the opportunity to address the attendees, expressing their gratitude for the continued support and participation of the community in preserving Atatürk’s principles of secularism, modernity, and unity. The also discussed how they as a association can do more to show further increase solidarity and hope for the homeland from abroad.
With laughter, conversation, and a shared appreciation for the significance of the day, the Eid Sunday breakfast which this year turned into a joint even falling on mothering Sunday once again proved to be a cherished tradition for the society.
