The Atatürk Society UK (ASUK)) is preparing to celebrate the 101st anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Turkey with great enthusiasm and pride. The 101st Anniversary Republic Ball will be held on Friday, October 25, 2024, at the Grand Palace Banqueting Suite.
This event aims to preserve and promote the identity of the Republic of Turkey as a secular, democratic, modern, and social state of law. It will bring together all citizens who share a love for Atatürk and the values of the Republic, fostering a spirit of unity and solidarity.
Erdal Beşikçioğlu, a renowned Turkish actor and director, will be the guest of honour at this special event. His attendance has generated excitement among attendees.
The evening will feature performances by Melek Yalçın, founder of Fasl-ı Keyf, Özgür Tandoğan and his orchestra, opera and jazz singer Sibel Demir, guitarist Alper Yazıcı, and a Zeybek dance performance by the Logo Dance Academy. These performances will add to the Republic Day celebration with music and dance.
