The new leader of Enfield Council Ergin Erbil, councillors Ahmet Karahasan and Sabri Özaydın meet with Londra Gazete manager Yilmaz Özyiğit on Friday 4th October.
The meeting held disused how the London council with the most Turkish speaking residences in the UK can increase its communication with Turkish media and increase it reach to its Turkish Speaking residence.
Londra Gazete analysed data from the Census 2021, which showed 112 thousand 971 people in England and Wales Turkish as their main language.
Based on the figures analysed Enfield had 18,765 residents speaking Turkish as the first language , Londra Gazete contacted the ONS following the census 2021 for the numbers of people that marked a second language as Turkish following English in the UK but these figures were not available to share.
