In a statement, DAYMER highlighted that the massacres against the Palestinian people have been ongoing for a year.
In a statement they said “Since October 7 2023, tens of thousands of people, particularly women and children, have lost their lives, with schools, hospitals, and residential areas destroyed.”
“DAYMER emphasized that people around the world have been taking to the streets for the past year to protest this genocide against the Palestinian people. In response to this ongoing massacre, DAYMER announced a nationwide march to mark the first anniversary, calling on Turkish migrant workers to participate in the march:NO TO GENOCIDE IN GAZA! NO TO ARMING ISRAEL! WE STAND WITH THE PALESTINIAN PEOPLE!”
The march will be held in central London starting from Russell Square at 12:00 PM on Saturday, October 5, 2024. Day-Mer will be making their way from their headquarters at NLCH (N17 6PY) at 10.50am to the March start.
