Tahir Osman Tahir, who served as the Deputy Chief of Mission at the TRNC (Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus) Representation in London, has been appointed as the KKTC Representative in Bishkek.
TRNC Parliament Speaker Zorlu Töre received Tahir Osman Tahir, who has been appointed as the KKTC Representative in Bishkek. According to information provided by the Parliament, Töre, who spoke during the reception held in the Parliament Honorary Hall, emphasized that Kyrgyzstan is one of the most important Turkish Republics and recalled the good relations between the country and the Parliaments.
Töre highlighted that relations with Turkish Republics in Central Asia, especially Azerbaijan, have gained significant momentum since the TRNC’s observer membership in the Organization of Turkish States. He noted that full membership is one of the main goals.
Töre wished success to Tahir in his new role. Tahir Osman Tahir, who has been appointed as the TRNC Representative in Bishkek, stated that he will start his new duties on August 1 and expressed his commitment to representing his country to the best of his abilities.
