This year, preparations are underway at full speed for the 7th Turkish Cypriot Culture Festival. The festival will take place on Sunday, June 30, 2024, at Donkey Lane Enfield EN1 3PL. The event will not only host the Cypriot Turkish community but also other communities living in the UK.
Every year, the festival hosts thousands of guests, and this year, with the participation of professional artists, it promises to be an enthusiastic event. Safe playgrounds for children and an amusement park will once again evoke the fair atmosphere of Cyprus at the festival.
From small trades people to businesspeople, the festival contributes to the promotion of Cyprus Turkish culture with expert and professional individuals. Like every year, a dedicated team of experienced volunteers is meticulously working on the festival. The members of the CTCA Festival Decision Committee are as follows: Kenan Nafi, Halil İzzet, Behiye Naci, Duygu Tağmaç, Selen Mehmet, Süheyla Kemal, Taşkın İsmet, Eren Emin.
Committee Chairman Kenan Nafi emphasized the significant efforts and contributions of member associations and schools to the festival’s success, highlighting the importance of unity and solidarity in their work. Nafi expressed pride in serving the Cyprus Turkish community, noting the strengthening of the Council with its members every passing day.
Entrance tickets to the festival are £5.00, and children under 10 can enter for free. Guests wishing to purchase tickets can contact the following ticket sales points. Additionally, tickets can be obtained online from the Eventbrite website if desired.
