Renowned surrealist comedian and writer Narin Özenci is making a return to the stage with her solo show “The Wild Woman – In Progress,” presented by Narin Oz.
Narin Özenci’s eccentric alter ego, Narin Oz, will take the stage at the Wandsworth Arts Fringe in June with her evolving performance “The Wild Woman (In Progress).”
This show serves as a love letter to her struggles with autism, as she attempts to understand and cope with the world around her. The performance is still developing, transforming into a magnificent beast, and Narin invites all minds to come and witness it. Follow her alter ego Narin Oz as she delves into the surreal world of her unfinished show and falls into fictional wormholes. Watch her efforts to pull herself out of these holes, dealing with information overload, sensory overwhelm, and the melting of her desire not to become the advancing wild woman.
Narin, who has previously performed theatre shows at the Edinburgh Fringe festival, hosted her own show “Girls Go Trolling” on Channel 4, and appeared on BBC 1’s “Man Like Mobeen.” Recently, she won the Best Comedy award for her short film “The Geoffrey Diaries” as part of the Mindfield Film Festival.
“The Wild Woman Show” opens on Tuesday, June 18th at The Arches at St Mary’s Church and runs until Wednesday, June 19th. The show will be held from 21:00 to 22:00.
