The Ataturk World Platform (AWP) is holding a online panel what will look at Turkey’s 3 march revolutionary laws and on the 100th anniversary of the constitution.
Attending the event and a guest speak will be Önay Alpago a Turkish female jurist, politician, former government minister and academic. Önay Alpago, who served as the Minister of State responsible for Women, Family and Social Services between 1994 and 1995, is currently a member of the CHP Honorary Board. Alpago, who is a member of the Advisory Board of Ka-Der and the Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Ataturkist Society Association, serves in many non-governmental organizations. She has been working as a lecturer at Yeditepe University for 20 years and is a lawyer affiliated with the Istanbul Bar Association.
As well as Bedii Süheyl Batum a Turkish professor of constitutional law, political scientist, columnist and Kemalist politician who had served as the Member of Parliament for Eskişehir from June 2011 to June 2015. He was the former rector of Bahçeşehir University. He is now a member of the current Republican People’s Party ( Cumhuriyet Halk Partisi) in Turkey. He was appointed as the deputy of the party leader.
